Four men charged over alleged dial-a-dealer cocaine syndicate
Four men allegedly involved in a dial-a-dealer syndicate which supplied more than half a million dollars worth of cocaine across Sydney will remain behind bars after they were formally refused bail in court today.
The men were taken into custody and charged on Monday after police raided seven properties in Bankstown, Croydon Park, Yagoona, Potts Hill and Condell Park, seizing nearly 1.6kg of cocaine with an estimated street value of $600,000.
Detectives also seized more than $40,000 cash, mobile phones, ammunition, firearm parts, documentation and equipment used in the supply of prohibited drugs.

Luxury cars stored at warehouse where kidnapping victim was held

A jury has failed to reach a verdict in the case of two men charged with importing cocaine after police put substitute powder and a covert listening device in a shipping container that arrived in Brisbane from Colombia.
Mark Anthony Dumenil, 49, and Hashanth Arjuna Kulatunge, 51, both pleaded not guilty to importing commercial quantities of border controlled drugs at the start of the Brisbane Supreme Court trial last week.
Jurors said on Friday they were unable to reach a majority verdict regarding those charges after deliberating for more than a day.
